Dobry den! I have been Resident Director in Prague since 2002. I studied in Prague as an Ohio University undergraduate and then completed an MA in fine arts and an international education certificate in the U.S. before returning to the city I love so much. Prague has something for everyone, with its wide variety of art, music, history and fashion.
I have traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe and the Middle East. Besides Czech, I also speak German and French. I enjoy getting to know people from other countries and learning what life is like abroad. You will find me in the AIFS office, right in the center of Prague, a short walk from the university classroom buildings and the main attrac tions of the city. I'll be waiting to welcome you!
AIFS Campus Staff with First Aid Training
Because health and safety are top priorities at AIFS, at least one member of the staff at this campus has taken a first aid course in order to be available to help any student until a doctor or nurse can provide help. This is just one of many services that we provide to our students.
Special features of the AIFS program:
The East and Central European Studies program is designed for foreign students at Charles University, the oldest university in Central Europe. Most courses are taught in English and include history, literature, film studies and social sciences, among others. AIFS provides many excursions, including London, Munich, Krakow and Moravia. AIFS students have a unique opportunity to do an internship at either Lobkowicz Palace within the precinct of Prague Castle or Nelahozeves Castle 10 miles from Prague.
