Hola! I've been a Resident Director for AIFS since 2010. I was born and raised here in Costa Rica. I graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy and was able to obtain postgraduate degrees in specific healthcare areas. I like everything involving sports, health and fitness. I also love singing and a good book. I speak Spanish and English fluently and also speak a little German.

As your Resident Director I am here to answer any questions you may have on the academic, social and cultural aspects of the program. My aim is to ensure that your stay in Costa Rica is the best and most educational possible. I will help you to have one of the most enriching experiences of your life!

As a native Costa Rican, I am very familiar with the lifestyle and culture. You'll find it is a beautiful country filled with exotic wildlife, a lively atmosphere and friendly, outgoing people. I will be organizing varied activities, to let you explore all that Costa Rica has to offer. My office is right on campus, so you will always have a friendly face at school to come to for advice or just for a chat!

I'm looking forward to meeting you here in San José; and as we say here in Costa Rica: Pura Vida!

Special features of the AIFS program:

The AIFS program allows students to live in a Costa Rican home and particpate in cultural activities such as tours, museum visits, sports, dance lessons and concerts. Students visit Arenal Volcano, Baldi Hot Springs and Monteverde Cloud Forest, and semester students have the option to visit Nicaragua and Panama as well.
